We recognize that community meetings
do not fit everyone’s schedule or comfort level. Therefore,
all surveys administered as part of this process will
also be available online. They can be filled
out from home or wherever you find convenient internet
access.
Special Places Survey
An inventory of the county’s “special
places” assets was developed through a series of activities in the fall of 2005. “Special places” consist
of things and places within your own community that
you feel contribute in a positive way toward the character
of your community. They can be places that you
feel should be preserved, that hold special meaning
to you, or are unique to your community. They
can be buildings you enjoy looking at, places you enjoy
visiting, and/or natural features, such as a stream
or scenic view.
Visual Preference Survey
A visual
preference survey uses pictures and comparisons to
help participants focus on how they would like to see
development occur in the future. This survey was available in January and February of 2006. Results and a full report are available to download.
Pathways Feedback Form
Participants and other community members will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the concepts, ideas, and options included in the draft plan document on which the Planning Commission will seek public feedback.
