  • Carroll County Housing Study
    The Carroll County Department of Citizen Services commissioned a housing study to provide current information about housing, the economic factors that affect it, and policy alternatives for preserving and achieving additional affordable housing. This study was completed in February 2005. (2 MB)

  • Carroll County Technology Development Feasibility Study Summary
    The Jacob France Institute prepared a study in 2003 for Carroll County to assess the feasibility of technology development in the county and to provide some recommendations toward that end.   • Carroll County Economic Development Land and Employment Needs Study FAQ Sheet
    The Carroll County Department of Economic Development commissioned a consultant to assess land zoned for employment uses in the county and identify areas best suited for future economic grwoth.  The final study is not yet ready, but that office prepared a Frequently Asked Questions sheet.  (51 KB)

  • Carroll County Economic Develpment Land and Employment Needs Study
    The Carroll County Department of Economic Development commissioned a consultant to assess employment land and future needs. The study identified potential areas best situated for future economic growth to foster a balanced economy that is not reliant on residential development.  The study focused on the sufficiency and suitability of land currently zoned for employment; potential employment projections for the next 25 years and the amount and logical locations for land that would be needed to support that growth; and the resources required to prepare that land to support targeted employment sectors.  The Economic Development Commission will evaluate the study and provide its recommendations for appropriate items that may be incorporated into the Pathways Plan.
